AT&T FirstNet Coverage Overview

AT&T FirstNet is a cell phone carrier owned and operated by AT&T.

It is designed to be used by military members and first responders.

FirstNet uses AT&T's nationwide 4G LTE and 5G networks to provide coverage. Additionally, FirstNet customers get exclusive access to Band 14. Band 14 is an LTE band that provides extra capacity to keep communication channels open for first responders during times when the regular consumer network may become congested.

The idea behind AT&T FirstNet is to enable first responders, military members, government employees, and other members of select organizations to always have a way to communicate in case of an emergency.

AT&T FirstNet covers 99% of Americans and spans 78.1% of the United States.

5G is also available on AT&T FirstNet. The 5G network covers 43.3% of the country and over 300 million people.
