Here are fast facts about Helium Mobile's coverage:
The above statistics come from our analysis of the FCC signal strength data for the United States.
Helium Mobile is a mobile virtual network operator, or MVNO. An MVNO is any carrier that does not own its own cellular network. Instead, MVNOs such lease access to existing cellular networks run by the big carriers (AT&T, T-Mobile, or Verizon).
In Helium Mobile's case, it runs of the T-Mobile network.
Thanks to T-Mobile's extensive coverage, Helium Mobile covers 99% of Americans with LTE and 97.8% of American's with 5G. Helium Mobile also boasts some of the fastest data speeds in the industry, thanks to T-Mobile's blazing fast 5G network. Median download speeds on Helium Mobile are 152.34 Mbps. That's over twice as fast as the median download speeds on AT&T or Verizon.
Helium Mobile also has one more trick up its sleeve.
In addition to leveraging T-Mobile's network for coverage, Helium Mobile also lets anyone deploy a Helium Mobile hotspot anywhere with an existing Internet connection.
The Helium Mobile hotspot devices, which you can see on Helium Mobile's website, give Helium even greater coverage than T-Mobile alone. Plus, the strategic deployment of Helium's hotspots inside buildings helps boost coverage indoors, often in areas where T-Mobile's cellular service would disconnect.
