Median upload speeds on Xfinity Mobile ranged from 6.6 Mbps in Mississippi to 24.6 Mbps in Rhode Island. And median ping performance on Xfinity Mobile ranged from 26 ms to 128 ms.
For context, you need download speeds of about 25 Mbps to stream 4K video, 8 Mbps to stream 1080p video, 4 Mbps to stream 720p video, and 1.5 Mbps to stream 480p video.
Xfinity Mobile uses Verizon towers, so coverage is the same between the two carriers.
Xfinity Mobile even gets access to Verizon’s domestic roaming partners.
Domestic roaming is where your phone uses a partner network for coverage in areas where your primary network doesn’t have service.

When it comes to 5G, Xfinity Mobile has less coverage than AT&T again. Only 14.5% of the U.S. is covered by Xfinity Mobile 5G, whereas 43.3% is covered by AT&T 5G.
Xfinity Mobile and AT&T will likely be suitable choices for many consumers, particularly in cities and in more rural areas.
