Each embed includes nationwide cellular coverage and signal strength data for all major U.S. carriers. Select multiple providers, supply custom display names to match your branding, and optionally apply your own Mapbox style so the base map tiles match your design system.

Where’s the data from?
All of our signal strength data is sourced from the FCC Broadband Data Collection. Our proprietary data processing pipeline handles discrepancies, inconsistencies, or other quality issues with data from the FCC, ensuring you get the most accurate and reliable coverage information possible.

What does the free trial include?
The free trial is for 14 days and includes 50 map loads. The embed can only be used for demo or trial purposes and cannot be used outside of that.
What counts as a map load?
Each time an embedded map is loaded on your site counts as one map load. Panning, zooming, and switching providers within an already-loaded map do not count as additional loads. Loading the map in the configurator does not count either.
What is map detail level?
Map detail level controls how many color bands appear on the map when visualizing signal strength. A lower detail level shows a simpler coverage footprint, while a higher detail level reveals finer-grained color gradations for more precise signal strength visualization.
Can I configure multiple maps?
Yes. You can create and manage multiple map configurations from the enterprise dashboard. Each configuration has its own embed code and can use different providers, colors, starting locations, themes, and Mapbox styles.
How do live updates work?
When you change settings in the dashboard and apply them, updates go live instantly to every site using that embed configuration. You do not need to change your embed code or redeploy your website.
Can I use my own Mapbox style?
Yes. You can supply a custom Mapbox style URL so the base map tiles and background styling match your brand or existing map design system.
Can I rename carriers in the embed?
Yes. Select the carriers you want to show and supply custom display names so labels match your branding or partner naming conventions.
How do we ensure data accuracy?
We have a custom data processing pipeline to apply corrections to the FCC data. This includes dealing with inaccuracies and discrepancies, and applying our correction algorithm to normalize the data between carriers.
How often is the data updated?
The data is based on data from the FCC and is updated within 2 days of it becoming available. The FCC typically releases data every 6 months. This is done automatically and no action is required on your part.
Can I track my usage?
Yes. You can track your map load usage in real-time from your dashboard and see usage broken down day-by-day.
What countries are supported?
Embeddable Coverage Maps are only available in the United States, Puerto Rico, Guam, and American Samoa.
