Quickstart
Create an account, get an API key and make your first request to a CoverageMap API.
Getting from zero to a first response takes a few minutes. Every CoverageMap API uses the same account, keys and request format, so these steps apply to all of them.
Steps
Create an Enterprise account
Sign up for, or sign in to, the CoverageMap Enterprise dashboard. The dashboard is where you manage subscriptions, API keys, usage and invoices.
Subscribe to an API
Start a free trial or subscribe to the API you want to use from the Products page. Each subscription is for one product, and its usage and billing are tracked separately.
Copy your API key
A default key is created with every subscription. Find it, or create more keys, in the API Keys section of the dashboard. Keep it secret: anyone with the key can use your subscription.
Check that you can reach the API
The status endpoint is public, so it is an easy first request. It answers
Onlinewhen the API is healthy.curl "https://enterprise.coveragemap.com/api/v1/status"Send an authenticated request
Pass your key as a Bearer token in the
Authorizationheader, then follow the quickstart of the API you subscribed to:
